Used anchors with someone who was belligerent...

**Situation:** My brother was getting belligerent, so I used the anchor of a postcard to transition into a discussion about behavior, and then I future paced him to getting what he wanted after doing what he needed to do. **What happened:** He calmed down and complied with the house rules. **What I learned:** Anchoring is especially powerful with future pacing and values utilization.

**Situation:** someone was describing a sat story where they were the victim **What happened:** after pacing their reality they were much more receptive to the comments i lead with after **What I learned:** Pacing realities is more powerful than i thoguht and easily missed.
